Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development in Utah and Why It Matters?

Sustainable Development is also known Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 and now the Great Reset. Before we throw the baby out with the bathwater and dismiss these words and concepts as a boogeyman or a wild conspiracy theory, let’s take a look at an official Utah document located on ut.gov by way of JOINT RESOLUTION ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL POLICIES (2013 GENERAL SESSION).

The General Description tells us enough to show it is not a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory or a hoax, and that Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development is real and is connected to the United Nations.

This joint resolution of the Legislature rejects United Nations Agenda 21 and urges state and local governments across the United States to reject it.”

Utah Legislators were actually doing their job and honoring their Oath of Office by not allowing a foreign or domestic enemy or ideology to corrupt and overturn American values and principles for that of collectivism:

I____, having been elected and appointed to the office of _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, obey, and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Utah, and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity.”

— Oath of Office (Similar)

The Resolution rejects Agenda 21/Sustainable Development in it’s “intent” and “abuse“, while urging “Utah’s state agencies and political subdivisions” to not participate in the ideology as it would have ramifications to “life, liberty and property.”

. . . both its intent and its potential for abuse; urges Utah’s state agencies and political subdivisions to not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process;”

DUE PROCESS:

“A Due Process Clause is found in both the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution, which prohibit the deprivation of “life, liberty, or property” by the federal and state governments, respectively, without due process of law.”

The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution:

No person shall … be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.”

The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution:

. . . nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

We can link, nexus, join and tie these rights back through history to the Magna Carta (AKA: “Great Charter of Freedoms”)

Magna Carta – Clause 39:

No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.”

Statutory rendition of the Magna Carta in 1354 during the reign of Edward III of England:

No man of what state or condition he be, shall be put out of his lands or tenements nor taken (taken to mean arrested or deprived of liberty by the state), nor disinherited, nor put to death, without he be brought to answer by due process of law.”

These rights cannot be encroached on:

Encroachment: “To enter by gradual steps or stealth into the possessions or rights of another; to trespass or intrude. To gain or intrude unlawfully upon the lands, property, or authority of another.”

The Utah state document further:

. . . urges Utah’s state agencies and political subdivisions to not adopt or develop environmental and developmental policies that, without due process, would infringe or restrict the private property rights of property owners; urges state and local governments across the United States to be well informed regarding the underlying harmful implications of implementing United Nations Agenda 21’s strategies for “sustainable development.”

Our elected officials again were keeping their Oaths by guarding against un-American creed, culture and philosophy in the form of any and all forms of Collectivism. The government officials from all levels were:

. . . urge[d] . . . to not enter into any agreement, expend any sum of money, contract services, or give financial aid to those nongovernmental and intergovernmental organizations as defined in Agenda 21.”

Those adhering to the United States Constitution were advising to “reject” any “grant money or financial aid attached to it.” Grant or seed money always comes with strings attached with special purposes that can corrupt and change the direction a person, organization or government entities ideas, system and policies and procedures flow, either by Liberty or Tyranny.

We must not only be educated in the tenants and philosophy of the collectivism and sub-ideologies of the United Nations, Socialism, Communism and Corporatism, but follow the money from where it originated and the flow to the outcome of the policies, beliefs and conduct as it changes souls, character and purpose to serve freedom or usurpers.

. . . and urges state and local governments across the United States to reject United Nations Agenda 21 and any grant money or financial aid attached to it.”

Utah legislators tell us where to look in order to educate ourselves as it is a collection, nexus and links of people, organizations and money to change the world not from their flattery wording, but the final outcome of slavery and bondage for the world population.

We see Agenda 21 was born and created with the United Nations blessings, knowledge and sanction. It was at the Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1992).

We need to read this document to understand the associations, channeling and connections involved with this summit.

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 was initiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992;”

Why is the United States part of the United Nations, as it is part of an Un-American ideology?

We learn from Utah’s document how organizations like International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives, Smart Growth America, the Wildlands Project, Center for Resilient Cities along with “regional projects” by way of the code word, “sustainable development” is being seeded and grown in our own backyard in local communities.

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is being introduced into local communities across the United States through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives, through local “sustainable development” policies including Smart Growth America, the Wildlands Project, Center for Resilient Cities, and regional visioning projects;”

We see the United Nations has authorized, certified and vouched for “nongovernmental and intergovernmental organizations” to create, start and put in action the Rio de Janeiro plan of 1992.

WHEREAS, the United Nations has accredited and enlisted numerous nongovernmental and intergovernmental organizations to assist in the implementation of its policies relative to Agenda 21 around the world;”

The official document shows the disdain the Monopolist who created the United Nations and all of the web of associates from organizations to people have for humanity to own and control private property.

WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 plan of sustainable development views private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership, individual travel choices, and privately owned farms as destructive to the environment;”

We learn that “social justice” is allowing these Monopolist Capitalist morality to allocate earth’s resources “by redistribution of wealth” by their standards, beliefs, passions and tyrant ways and means.

WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy, social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded citizens by society and the environment, which would be accomplished by redistribution of wealth; and

What are the effects of “redistribution of wealth“?

Practically all government attempts to redistribute wealth and income tend to smother productive incentives and lead toward general impoverishment. . . . Government’s main economic function is to encourage and preserve a free market.”

— Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson

The United Nations deems sovereignty, whether its individual, state or national as “social injustice”.

WHEREAS, according to United Nations Agenda 21 policy, national sovereignty is deemed a social injustice:

The state government document continues:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature urges Utah’s state agencies and political subdivisions to not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to Agenda 21, adopted by the United Nations in 1992 at its Conference on Environment and Development, or any other international law or ancillary plan of action that contravenes the Constitution of the United States or the Constitution of the state of Utah.

Once this Resolution was passed in 2013, the official document detailing and generalizing a collusion, scheme, and designed “ancillary plan of action” was posted, forwarded and acknowledged throughout Utah and the nation to different governments, organizations and delegations. Some of the organizations were identified as being traitorous to the both the U.S. and Utah Constitutions.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Council of State Governments, the National Conference of State Legislatures, the National Association of Counties, the United Nations General Assembly, the Wildlands Project, Smart Growth America, Center for Resilient Cities, the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives, the Utah Association of Counties, the Utah League of Cities and Towns, the Majority Leader of the United States Senate, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and the members of Utah’s congressional delegation.

As a past elected city official, I am also skeptical of the Utah League of Cities and Towns of performing un-American U.S. and Utah Constitutional practices, by subverting cities and towns into regional government control influenced by the same agenda described and detailed while destroying local elected representative government influenced by, We the People at ground zero in a Republic as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution in Article IV:

Section 4 Republican Form of Government: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

We want to remain a Republic, not The Subverting of America into the Chinese Model that Agenda 21, Agenda 2030 and the Great Reset will accomplish if Americans don’t educate, understand and become invested in stopping this from happening.

In a thousand fields the welfarists, statists, socialists, and interventionists are daily driving for more restrictions on individual liberty.”

— Henry Hazlitt

The Founding Fathers were consistently looking at the longer effects of any act or policy of government, or even individual or organizations. Unfortunately, our modern humanity is focused “merely at the immediate” effects.

The art of economics consists in looking not merely at the immediate but at the longer effects of any act or policy; it consists in tracing the consequences of that policy not merely for one group but for all groups.”

— Henry Hazlitt

We need to retrain our mindsets to think of the “consequences” and “outcomes“, but know this, as we attempt to do this on an individual level pushing and prodding others to follow suit in claiming, using and defending humanities God given rights.

“If you focus on long-term outcomes, expect to be misunderstood in the short-term, frequently.”

— Tom Gardner

  1. Great breakdown, really easy to see the glaring contradictions between what they said and what they did and are still doing (Supporting A 21/30).

There are still people in the legislature now who were around in 2013…

I’ve often thought it’d be a worthwhile research project to see what legislation was written and passed between 2013 and were sponsored by those who participated in this resolution.
    Oath Breakers?

ULCT seems to operate as quasi government because of its membership. But it’s NOT government (NGO). Though it’s been around for quite a while, who is funding it? Who does the speaking and training? Why does this org. get specifically included in legislation and influence positions? Which bills do they support and oppose each session and what percentage of those bills end up going their “way”?

Questions I’ve asked myself and started looking into, it seems to be a big, quiet part of the problem.
    Great work!

    1. Salty, thanks for your comments. I agree “Liberty Advocate” does “Great work!” Also agree that an expose article regarding ULCT needs to be written. Do you want to write it up? If not, perhaps one of us in the near future. Once again, thanks.

  2. Thank you for so clearly explaining what is happening in our country and in Utah. I want to help stop regionalism and help defend our state and US Constitution. It starts with education. Thank you for helping to educate us!
