Most, if not all, have read and observed the mighty memes on social media about our times, comparing strong and weak men and the corresponding quality and times they bring to humanity and the nation and the effects each man and women have in the present moment and on the future generations.
Understanding why weak men create hard times can be simple and complex, and it doesn’t happen overnight. It can take more than twenty years to a lifetime to fully comprehend the reasons for the development of the world’s decay.
“The institutions, conventions, customs and laws that make up the complex structure of a society are the work of a hundred centuries and a billion minds; and one mind must not expect to comprehend them in one lifetime, much less in twenty years.” (1)
A major polarization factor is happening before our eyes, and it is intentional for those who are fully aware. If you are not, we hope to help others connect the dots and become informed to help warn our family and friends about what is happening.
We must become awake and aware that our once beloved institutions (churches, schools, government, police), customs, and laws that make up our complex society have now been subverted and used subconsciously to coerce and enslave us by the power-seeking feudal overlords. Their combined wealth and agenda control our emotions and thoughts, ensnaring our habitual behaviors.
The want-a-be ruling class has made consumerism the religion of the subconscious by tapping into the deep subconscious with the allure and hedonic pleasure of epicurean. They have made it alluring, like the sirens of the seas, dangerous sea creatures who used their beautiful voices and songs to enchant sailors and control their fate. Our want-to-be overlords have found a way to manipulate the masses for about 100 years and have only become master manipulators over time.

Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. As our minds have been manipulated with the allure of epicurean, it is like a drug addict, as our subconsciously controlled and coerced habits take us toward the light of dependence and bondage. Instead of having a foundation of institutions and people telling us not to “look at the light,” we have the opposite, where they are encouraging our own family and friends to do unhealthy things to normalize destructive behavior and create mental illness to destroy our nation all in the name of pleasure and no accountability.

Bernard Bernays informs us that our opinions on matters ranging from politics to ethics are tainted, molded, and dominated by our want-a-be ruling power, a “small number of persons” who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses and pull the strings to control the public mind. Are our choices really ours?

These choices add up for individuals and collectively as a nation. They are affected by what we consume from A to Z, the books we read, the people we spend time with, the habits we adopt, and the conversations we engage in. In essence, we make the everyday choices by the person we choose to create now and in the future, including the political positions we decide to defend or allow to be destroyed. Now, we must question whether it is ours or controlled by those pulling the strings. We must evaluate our lives and determine where these choices lead us and our families.

For those who “cannot see” why weak men create hard times, we must detail how a nation is born and dies.

Even then a firm faith will explain that it was the sins of the people that turned their gods to an avenging wrath; evil does not destroy faith, but strengthens it.” (1)
Americans are becoming polarized at an exponential rate. We seem to be heading in two distinct directions, and some might even say we are heading toward Civil War. I think most of us would rather avoid such a course for America.
This is not only happening throughout America, but it is happening closer to our doors as it is happening in our communities and even more intimately in our homes. It is taking place in our families and our marriages. It is causing a polarization effect within relationships of all kinds as people become more epicurean or stoic, causing the rift to separate people into these categories, causing divorces and destroying the family unit between husband and wife and alienation with children and extended family and into friendships and association of all kind.

To avoid it, we must understand what is happening. We have two options. One is to return to our founding roots and principles and restore them, aligning with stoicism and faith. The other choice is to continue on the path society is heading: Epicurean, which is gluttony, hedonistic, luxury, pleasures, materialism, and worldliness, which leads to dependence and bondage.
Epicurean is described as:
“. . . meaning as the equivalent of hedonism, the doctrine that pleasure or happiness is the chief good. In popular parlance, Epicureanism thus means devotion to pleasure, comfort, and high living, with a certain nicety of style.” (3)
“Epicureanism is best known for its theory of value, namely that humans are ultimately driven by the pursuit of pleasure and the avoidance of pain and that a good life is a pleasurable life. In this view, there is no objective value system that exists independently from human experience.” (4)
There is no higher power or morality than moral relativism. This ideology has no objective truth other than to eat, drink, and be merry.
“For Epicureans, all human action is motivated by pleasure and pain. In cases where this seems untrue, it is simply because what humans find pleasurable or painful is differs greatly amongst people and isn’t always obvious.” (4)
“Pleasure is what comes of meeting our desires.” (4)
The nation is being torn in multiple directions as we choose to return to our birthplace or our death. The people in the country are selecting either direction or remaining neutral. They are choosing the hard right or the easy wrong.
What concerns me is how most of our nation chooses the easy wrong of epicureanism, which is the road to mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual decay, bondage, and destruction. They are very selective about their cereals and automobiles but unable to use reason, logic, and critical thinking skills to solve problems.
“If victory comes, if war is forgotten in security and peace, then wealth grows; the life of the body gives way, in the dominant classes, to the life of the senses and the mind; toil and suffering are replaced by pleasure and ease; science weakens faith even while thought and comfort weaken virility and fortitude. At last men begin to doubt the gods; they mourn the tragedy of knowledge, and seek refuge in every passing delight.” (1)
The evolution of Tytler’s Cycle shows how a nation goes from stoic to epicurus. When we are stoic, we are strong, disciplined, courageous, and responsible. But if we are Epicurus, we are weak, fragile, mentally unstable, and reliant on the government to the point of being ensnared and enslaved by the ruling class.

If we are to save our nation, families, and souls, we must restore our roots of becoming stoic again through self-mastery and regain our liberty and God-given rights once more for ourselves and our posterity.

Now, with this knowledge, what are we going to choose? What are we going to chase? What quality of life are we choosing for ourselves, our families, and our nation?

The Bible also recognizes and differs between the two paths in the prophecies of the last days as a compelling description of Epicurean:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-having a form of godliness but denying its power.” — 2 Timothy 3:1-5
The Bible described Stoicism in inference and implied description.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” — Galatians 5:22-26
Epicurean creates weak men and women who are easily controlled and dependent on their feudal lords. These weak men and women will cause hard times for the rest of humanity.
We need strong men and women who are stoics, who are aware of history and how it repeats from liberty to tyranny. They are ready to meet the challenges at hand and rise to the occasion of defending the truth and becoming self-masters in pushing for freedom. They must model this and teach it to the next generation as the gap between the two paths and ideologies widens and deepens daily, causing the tension of a Civil War.
