Disinformation warfare against Ammon Bundy: Americans should be Angry

Why should Americans as a whole be mad at what is happening to Ammon Bundy?  I’m telling you that what is happening to Ammon could happen to anyone and everyone. This form of warfare that is happening to Ammon is against every segment of people. It crosses every creed, nationality, race, ethnicity, gender, and ideology.  It is a war on the Democrats, Liberals, Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, and Constitutionalists. It is a divide and conquer strategy that has been put to use and institutionalized against — We The People.

For a good overview of the situation watch this short video.

In this article, I would like to tackle something Ammon said on April 22, 2023, in a YouTube video he posted about how he was specifically targeted by using his name on a nationally syndicated television show.  The television show, is affiliated with CBS, called FBI’s Most Wanted (Season 4 Episode 18 “Rangeland”).

When television first came out, it was referred to as programming.1  Take a minute and think about it by researching the purpose and intent of mass communication.  There are definitely positives for this type of communication, but there are some very dark and insidious intentions as well.

Here are some words associated with programming:

  • Planning
  • Designing
  • Shaping
  • Maneuvering
  • Calculating
  • Intriguing
  • Schematizing
  • Scheming

In the fictional, but almost realistic way; the Supervisory Special Agent Remy Scott said, “Two hostages, then a cattle call. These ranchers are up to something. Notify the governor and ask him to activate the National Guard. We don’t want another Ammon Bundy standoff, and this could be worse. We have hostages.”

How many times do we hear a real name being put out over national air waves that could be heard worldwide.  I know it happens, but it is rare.

Here we have the FBI, who is considered our National Law Enforcement in a fictitious and sensationalized way to proclaim in a very low-key action, that Ammon Bundy is an enemy to the FBI, which is the arm of the Federal government.  Would it be a stretch to say, he is the enemy of the state.

Before we trivialize, downplay or diminish the idea of Ammon not being targeted by the Federal government and the FBI, let’s take a microscope to the entertainment and film industry. Let’s take a look at the involvement our own government in producing films and television shows that look favorably on their policy and action to help justify and gain support from — We The People, that might go against the rules of government by way of the US Constitution.

The content of film and television is directly, regularly, and secretly determined by the US government, led by the CIA and Pentagon . . . distinct genre: ‘national security cinema’—namely, those films that follow self-serving official histories and exalt in the righteousness of US foreign policy.” –The authors, Matthew Alford and Tom Secker of the book, National Security Cinema: The Shocking New Evidence of Government Control in Hollywood, touch words, that all intersect and connect to one another, “US government”, “CIA” and “Pentagon.”2

When these government organizations were created, I understood their boundaries, limits and focus was to be outside the geographical areas of the US.  Why are the rules continually eroded to allow the people of the United States to be the target and aim of their agenda and ploy at us?

We find out the “military PR machine has absorbed, immersed and fused into the “entertainment industry.”

Through use of the Freedom of Information Act, the authors were able to take a microscope to the government relationship with the entertainment industry and determined it was worse than previously reported.

And yet the reality of a slick and extensive military PR machine in the entertainment industry . . . When we first looked at the relationship between politics and motion pictures around the turn of the Twenty-First century, we accepted the consensus opinion that a small office at the Pentagon had assisted the production of around 200 films throughout the history of modern media.”

How ignorant we were.”

More appropriately, how misled we had been . . .

The authors didn’t accept the “ignorance” factor, but pointed out how Americans have been “misled” by our own government, more specifically “the Pentagon” and the “CIA“, but the FBI will be introduced into the propaganda machine.

As we look at the word “misled” with more accuracy, we find more words to describe the action taken by the Pentagon.

  • Misinformed
  • Deluded
  • Fooled
  • Wronged
  • Deceived
  • Tricked

In essence, it appears We the People have been lied to about what the government was doing behind our backs, while we were distracted. We trusted them, but overall, it has no integrity and has interests that clash with Americans.

I have heard the argument on why the Church and State should be separated. But the same sentiments, arguments, and reasons, for checks and balances to exist apply to the collusion or marriage between: the film and entertainment industry; and government. If it continues it will bring great harm to the general public. We should also be strict to draw the same lines between financial institutions, the education industry, the media, entertainment and others. The State needs boundaries and they should not be involved in the film and entertainment industry. They should be bound and chained down by the rule book.

It gradually became apparent to us that the relationship between the US government and Hollywood is—or rather always was—more political than acknowledged. . . . the Freedom of Information Act indicate that between 1911 and 2017 eight-hundred and fourteen films received DOD support.”

The merger, consortium and alliance between Hollywood and government was “more political than acknowledged.” Basically, it was worse than we had been told and assumed.

That’s not including television titles. The information does not include the statistics from 2017 to present (2023).

If we include the 1,133 TV titles in our count, the number of screen entertainment products supported by the DOD leaps to 1,947. If we are to include the individual episodes for each title on long-running shows like 24, Homeland, and NCIS, as well as the influence of other major organisation like the FBI, CIA and White House then it becomes clear that the national security state has supported thousands of products.”

Now we see the FBI is getting in on the ploy and subterfuge.

This should be alarming and frightening to every American, no matter your race, ethnics, and gender or political background. Our favorite television shows and movies have been used against us in one form or another to change our mindset towards government, allowing us to accept their violation of our rights and the Constitution by way of programming and disinformation.

Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels and the Nazi Propaganda machine would have been even more powerful and influential with our modern apparatus and vehicle to promote their agenda.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Words and concepts we should investigate to dig deeper into what is transpiring in America and under the eyes of our government officials:

  • lie big enough
  • repeating it
  • people will come to believe it
  • maintained, the State can shield the people from . . . consequences of the lie
  • the truth is the greatest enemy of the State

Is the merging of the film, entertainment and government part of the shielding “the people from the . . . consequences of the lie”?

National security entertainment promotes violent, self-regarding, American-centric solutions to international problems based on twisted readings of history. However, even those products that don’t meet such a lamentable yardstick are still to some degree designed to recruit personnel and, in doing so, must adhere to the desired self-image of the national security state.”

I would not only say “international problems”, but domestic as well. The America and image that is being spread through the nation and throughout the world, would be considered adverse and contradictory to what our Founding Fathers and Framers to the Constitution envisioned.  It has grown past the limitations set in place, and now has overreaching tentacles into every facet and angle of Americans life.

“Furthermore, we found that the government has been the decisive factor in both the creation and termination of projects and has manipulated content in much more serious ways than has ever been known.”

It seems the government is in full control and in the driver’s seat in influencing Hollywood and the entertainment industry by either indirect or direct means driving narratives to the general public by way of an agenda.

Why, and what is, the government’s ultimate program to spread disinformation? Neil Postman talks about it in Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business:

In America, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and it is certainly useful to have a few when a pollster shows up. But are opinions of a quite different order from eighteenth- or nineteenth-century opinions. It is probably more accurate to call them emotions rather than opinions, which would account for the fact that they change from week to week, as the pollsters tell us. What is happening here is that television is altering the meaning of ‘being informed’ by creating a species of information that might properly be called disinformation.”

Here we learn that opinions are really emotions, and “change from week to week” and primary factor and common denominator is “television“.  Television is “altering the meaning of being informed“, which is called “disinformation.”

I am using this world almost in the precise sense in which it is used by spies in the CIA or KGB.”

Disinformation is the craft and core function of both the CIA and KGB.  Would it be fair to equate our CIA to the KGB?

Disinformation does not mean false information. It means misleading information–misplace, irrelevant, fragmented or superficial information–information that creates the illusion of knowing something but which in fact leads one away from knowing.”

Here we find out how the guiding principles are misdirection.

Neil Postman dovetails the disinformation influence between the media and the CIA.  One would need to investigate this a little further by researching Project Mockingbird.

In saying this, I do not mean to imply that television news deliberately aims to deprive Americans of a coherent, contextual understanding of their world. I mean to say that when news is packaged as entertainment, that is the inevitable result.”

At the minimum, misdirection is inevitable, indirectly. But do we really believe it is not intentional?

And in saying that the television news show entertains but does not inform, I am saying something far more serious than that we are being deprived of authentic information. I am saying we are losing our sense of what it means to be well informed. Ignorance is always correctable. But what shall we do if we take ignorance to be knowledge?”

The result of misdirection, is being “deprived of authentic information“, but a more sinister outcome is how human beings are “losing” common sense, critical thinking skills and what it means to “well informed.” Neil closes with how “ignorance” is being consumed as knowledge.

Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.”

— Alfred North Whitehead

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.”

— Confucius

As ignorance is being bred in our culture, it will cause fear.

Ignorance is the parent of fear.”

— Herman Melville

In ignorance, we can be divided, dumbed down and then overpowered, overwhelmed and routed by creating rifts between individuals and the rest of the country through the use of biases and prejudices.

Prejudices are the chains forged by ignorance to keep men apart.”

— Marguerite Gardiner

We can tie misdirection at creating most of our problems as a nation and as individuals. Our emotions are really our opinions and ignorance is our knowledge, which creates fear and prejudices.  Our pride, ego and having a fixed mindset keeps us in the culture of misdirection as we think we are acting on intelligence.  What kind of mindset and person are being created by their daily consumption of media and entertainment?

What belief system are the manipulators installing in our culture and society as individuals are being created and made?

“When it comes to controlling human beings there is no better instrument than lies. Because, you see, humans live by beliefs. And beliefs can be manipulated. The power to be manipulate beliefs is the only thing that counts.”

— Michael Ende

Remember, we are what we consume:

Mindful consumption is the object of this precept. We are what we consume. If we look deeply into the items that we consume every day, we will come to know our own nature very well. We have to eat, drink, consume, but if we do it unmindfully, we may destroy our bodies and our consciousness, showing ingratitude toward our ancestors, our parents, and future generations.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh

We have to live with intention, and be aware and mindful of what we are taking into our bodies, especially our minds as it will affect our understanding of current events, our national history and psychology in our emotions, thoughts, and feelings verses facts and the truth.

In closing, this brings us full circle on the links the media, film and entertainment industry have to our own government through the arms of the CIA, Pentagon and the FBI.  What is happening to Ammon Bundy is intentional, and it would be safe to say, Ammon and some of the Bundy’s are considered enemies of the state.  Why?  This will take another article.

One quality that I appreciate about Ammon if people would look at him from a clear lens. You will observe, he is genuine and sincere.  He would help anyone in need.  This being said, he is one who doesn’t like bullies.  As I have watched him through the years, he is very consistent in the mind-set.  Individually or with others and for others, he will stand-up against people and organizations who are bullies.

Thank you, Ammon.

As we know, bullies don’t like to be stood up to, so they will do everything in their power to shut those down, directly or indirectly, those who dare go up against them through retaliation and revenge. Indirectly, there are several ways, but one is building a narrative of misdirection against them.  We cannot allow Ammon to be shut up. If they are able to accomplish this, then it will stop others from standing up against bullies. We will live in a nation of cowards instead of the brave.  What happens to Ammon affects all of us.
